We've been going outside to play for many days in a row to keep happy during the long cold month of February. We even took a night walk around the block over the weekend, but today was unexpectedly wonderful :-) It's in the 50's and everything is thawing out, so we can actually see concrete and a bit of grass here and there... among the huge piles of snow.
Of course, play clothes and mud boots are a necessity on a day like today. It's really swampy!!
Big news too, Chloe pedaled the trike all by herself for the first time -- she can finally reach the pedals :-)
I've been trying to capture a picture of the kids smiling nicely and looking at the camera. I figured maybe teaching them to just say cheese (like everyone else on the planet) would be the solution. Do only our kids get stuck on the "CH" part and hang out there??? I mean, come on.
Better luck next time... which will be tomorrow when we will be outside ALL DAY (until the rain moves in... like it does anytime the weather gets really nice).Posted by Bree
