Her Horse Phase

All girls seem to go through one at some point, right?
Well, she is absolutely enraptured.

If she is pretending to be one, galloping through the house (neighing loudly), then her name is Speedy, Thunderbolt or Blaze. These are the only names she will answer to when in character. And they are stallions. Not mares.

If she is reading, it is a horse story, preferably "Mustang Canyon" or one from the "Billy and Blaze" series. Read it again please. Again. Again....

If she is on the floor, she is setting up a pasture or a building a stable or horse barn. She takes care that each horse is well-fed a diet of plastic pineapples, pumpkins, lettuce and carrots (from her playmobil sets). They are often thirsty so tiny buckets of water are scattered about too.

For her birthday all she wanted was a real horse of her very own and a horse cake. We will be doing one of those for her :-)
