We have had an ongoing request for 2 songs while driving in the car. That's it. Two. Nothing else. No radio, ever. The songs are upbeat, silly and fun to dance to... but on repeat they are simply irritating.
Soooooo...
We made a crazy car mix for them with 19 songs on it :-) Much better. If you have little ones, I highly recommend making a fun car mix. Todd and I even like it (well, most of it, but there's a balance at least).
Mahna Mahna by Cake
Message in a Bottle by The Police
Good Vibrations by Marky Mark
Cruel Summer by Bananarama
Rock Me Amadeus by Falco
Suddenly by TobyMac
Shine by The Newsboys
Safety Dance by Men Without Hats
No Ordinary Love by TobyMac
U Can't Touch This by MC Hammer
Walking On Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves
Einstein on the Beach by Hootie and the Blowfish
Say the Words Remix by DC Talk
Gonna Make You Sweat by C & C Music Factory
Give It Away by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Walk Like an Egyptian by The Bangles
Play That Funky Music by Wild Cherry
Pop Goes the World by Men Without Hats
Rock Lobster by The B52's
The only one that we wanted on there but couldn't get was 32 Footsteps by They Might Be Giants. And you know pretty much any 80's song (with clean lyrics) or 90's dance tune (with clean lyrics) could make the list.

I'd like to come along on your next road trip -- I can sing some mean harmonies with you all!...and chair dance with the best of ya!
Speaking of music -- ever hear of Grace Williams? Her miracle life and testimonies have inspired her to play piano and sing the most anointed sounds I've ever heard. One of her albums, "Firefall," is amazing. It will lift you off the planet into Heaven! Many miracles, too, have been reported by listeners. Talk about The Peace That Passes Understanding!
