Surrounded

this is how he spends so much of his days

his hands have been busy
his mind engaged
sitting on the floor, surrounded
transforming....

explaining to me how to change them
showing me how fast he is
trying to decide whether he likes good or evil
and which side will win each war
getting frustrated with plastic toys that pop apart
taking short breaks to recharge
pretending with fun voices for each
defining 'autobot' and 'decepticon' for Chloe
glad to have something of his own that she has no interest in

it's a boy's world
